TRATTORIA d’SOUMAH

Our focus is to offer exceptional Northern Italian Cuisine served in a Trattoria style dining room. Fresh food quality, comfort and relaxation are key. Trattoria d’Soumah is open weekdays from 11:30am to 3:00pm and on weekends from 11.30am to 4.00pm. Our menu of antipasti, pasta, wood fired pizza, cheese and dessert is available seven days a week, with extra options offered on Saturdays and Sundays. Bookings are recommended and please note on weekends, there is a minimum spend on food of $30 per adult.

Authentic fare amongst the vines

Our Chef has created some authentic favourites such as rotolo, vegetarian orecchiette, veal osso bucco, grilled swordfish with caponata, slow braised lamb shoulder and veal saltimbocca.

Also don’t miss our Forno Bravo wood fired pizzas – from the classic margherita to the spicy salami picante.

Choose your own selection of individual antipasti items like marinated olives, house pickled mussels, Prosciutto di Parma or enjoy the full antipasti board on offer. Our imported Italian cheese options include truffle infused pecorino or washed rind taleggio or the Formaggio Ubriaco – ‘drunken cheese’, which is a speciality of Piedmont and aged in barrels containing the nebbiolo grape skins from Barolo.

And don’t forget to finish off with a lavish dessert paired with a glass of our special Brachetto dessert wine!

Please note the following in relation to our Trattoria:

  1. Bookings for larger groups, 10 or more, will be required to order from a reduced menu although we cover all bases with vegetarian, gluten free, seafood and meat dishes all available. Please contact our Trattoria Manager on 03 5962 4716 for more information.
  2. Public holidays incur double labour cost for us and we adjust our prices on these days to ensure we can continue to open for business.
  3. Due to the high demand of tables over a weekend, there is a minimum spend on food of $30 per adult between the hours of 11.30am – 3.30pm.
