TRATTORIA d’SOUMAH

Our focus is to offer exceptional northern Italian cuisine served in a Trattoria-style dining room. Fresh food quality, comfort and relaxation are key. Trattoria d’Soumah is open weekdays from 11:30am to 3:00pm and on weekends from 11.30am to 4.00pm. Our menu of antipasti, pasta, woodfired pizza, cheese and dessert is available seven days a week, with extra options offered on Saturdays and Sundays.
Bookings are highly recommended. Please note, on weekends there is a minimum spend on food of $30 per adult.

Authentic Fare Amongst the Vines

Our Chef has created authentic favourites such as asparagus and pea orecchiette, spanner crab tagliatelle, pressed lamb shoulder with panzanella or our own Cotoletta di vitello. Our kitchen garden provides fresh seasonal produce used in these Italian inspired dishes.

We are well-known for our Forno Bravo woodfired pizzas; from the classic margherita to spicy salami or try a seasonal special on the weekends.

Enjoy a selection of house made produce on our antipasti board or perhaps Hervey Bay scallops or zucchini flowers are more to your taste. Our imported Italian cheeses, such as truffle infused pecorino and washed rind taleggio, are served with lavosh, dried fruit, quince past and nuts.

There is a wide selection of dessert options, and finishing off with our special Brachetto sorbet is always a good thing!

Trattoria d’Soumah

Please note the following in regard to our Trattoria:

  • Bookings for larger groups of ten or more can enjoy an excellent lunch with antipasti plates to start, followed by a choice of four substantial mains. These authentic Italian plates include a meat, fish, pasta and vegetarian option which always receive positive feedback. We will happily accommodate dietary requirements with the availability of gluten free and vegan meals. Please contact our Trattoria Manager on 03 5962 4716 for more information.
  • We like to stay open on Public Holidays as for many it is the only time to visit. However, on these days we apply a percentage surcharge to diners, allowing us to compensate our team members appropriately. No surcharge is applied to take-away wine purchased from our Cellar Door.
  • Due to the high demand of tables on the weekend, there is a minimum spend of $30 per adult (on food) between the hours of 11.30am – 4pm. Any other time — no minimum spend!
