Like a fine wine… we just get better with age!
From humble origins – just a simple shed on a piece of land we thought could produce great wine- we’ve grown to be a beautiful winery – with a dozen grape varieties, almost 30 SOUMAH branded wines, a newly renovated and expanded trattoria, and elegant cellar door with not one, but three tasting rooms and even an expanded accommodation offering that will launch later in 2023.
Still owner-operated and still family-owned, our tight-knit team is passionate about wine- and we’re working hard to bring you new and exciting blends, varietals, styles, and profiles that are not only uniquely Yarra Valley – but inspired by Northern Italy, a region which our terroir is able to replicate with some very close attributes.
To celebrate our birthday we are hosting a three-day celebration kicking off on Australia Day- with a beautiful lunch in Ai Fiori- information here on the 26th of January.
From the 27th-29th of January enjoy our beautiful a-la-carte selection of meals at Ai Fiori from 11.30am to 4pm daily – we will have a casual snack menu with moreish light fare, a gelato cart for anyone who loves a sweet treat, and (weather permitting) drinks on the patio for you to be able to take in the views while sipping on your favourite SOUMAH drop.
