Masterclass Series Calendar 2019 & Beyond

Masterclass Series Calendar 2019 & Beyond

We love sharing our knowledge of wine with you.

Whether you have joined us for a Masterclass previously or not, there is always something new to learn. Our staff are well-versed in the varieties we grow and why, how we make our wine, provide tips on how best to enjoy wine and are knowledgeable of the wine growing regions of the world.

Our Masterclass sessions typically take place on the second last weekend of the month. You can choose either a Saturday or Sunday one-hour afternoon class, starting at 3pm. What better way to enjoy a relaxed weekend afternoon, tasting a handful of delicious selections! (Hint: come early and enjoy lunch beforehand!)

MASTERCLASS SERIES CALENDAR

2019
21 & 22 September ~ Pinot Noir Lovers
This Masterclass will focus on our different Pinot Noir clones and compare the difference between our two vineyards. You will taste barrel samples, current releases, museum wines and two stunning Burgundies from France. More details here.

19 & 20 October ~ Chardonnay Lovers
Much like the Pinot Noir Lovers Masterclass, you will taste and compare wines we produce from the past and present, as well as some specially sourced imports.

23 & 24 November ~ Northern Italian Highlights
An Italian focus all the way for this class as it coincides with Yarra Valley Tourism’s ‘Ciao Yarra Valley Ciao‘ festival!

2020
22 & 23 February ~ Soumah Award Winners
Not all our wines are on our tasting menu all the time. Here is your chance to experience some of our best.

21 & 22 March ~ Wine & Chocolate
Like our cheese pairing Masterclass in July 2019, enjoy the flavour sensations of matching chocolate and wine, and learn why they go together so well.

18 & 19 April ~ Wine in the Works
By April, we have finished vintage and our wines are developing. This is your opportunity to learn the process of how wine develops over time, tasting barrel samples through to the final product.
