Crisp and refreshing, this dry white follows the Italian tradition of blending all varieties from the vineyard into one multifaceted and complete wine. As the acronym on the front label suggests, this is a blend of our Savagnin, Chardonnay, Viognier and Pinot Grigio. We blend these in varying quantities, ensuring the wine is the complete package of fruit and balanced acidity. It is a wine from our hills and speaks of the land on which it is grown.

A warmer than average winter saw an earlier bud burst. Spring witnessed 100mm more rain than normal and unsettled weather at flowering significantly lowered the crop. Summer was one degree hotter than the 25 year average, although we evidenced no excessive heat spikes. Overall, a wetter and hotter year, with low yeild delivered a small but high-quality crop.
Made from a blend of Savagnin, Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio and Viognier from our Hexham Vineyard.

“Yarra Valley blend of Savagnin, Chardonnay, Viognier and Pinot Grigio. We get around to most of the Soumah wines each year but we haven’t looked at the Tutto Bianco since the 2016 it seems, which surprises me.
It’s straight and direct. Not exactly lean, but in that vicinity. Lemon, apple, sweet herb and florals. It’s racy with acidity but there’s the merest whisper of texture too. With seafood this would sing. Again this isn’t salty but there’s that suggestion of brine. It’s good. 91 Points.”
