Taste your way through a curated selection of wines including Pinot Grigio, Nascetta, Marzemino, Nebbiolo, Brachetto and Barolo while learning about the characteristics and flavours of each variety.
This is a seated tasting of our own SOUMAH Italian varietals along with a selection of our imported wines from northern Italy.
Bookings are essential and a non-refundable payment is required at the time of booking.

For those looking for more insight into our exciting range of wines, indulge in an elevated wine experience with our Premium Wine Tasting!
Relax in comfort and enjoy an in-depth, seated wine tasting of our Equilibrio (reserve) and limited release wines by one of our expert cellar door team members. You will gain insight into our terroir, winemaking techniques, and the stories behind each vintage while enjoying a more personalised and immersive tasting experience. This tasting is accompanied by fresh ciabatta bread and olives.
Bookings are essential and a non-refundable payment is required at the time of booking.

Hours & Location
Visit our cellar door and restaurant any day of the week, any day of the year. We are completely closed only on Christmas Day and New Year's Day. Open every other day including Easter and public holidays!

Soumah's cellar door offers three tastings: the Classic Wine Tasting at $18, the Italian Wine Tasting at $30, and the Premium Wine Tasting at $55 per person. The Italian and Premium tastings are seated, and the Premium includes fresh ciabatta and olives.
Walk-ins are welcome for the Classic tasting in groups of fewer than 8. The Italian and Premium tastings, and any group of 8 or more, must be booked in advance, with a non-refundable payment taken at the time of booking.
The cellar door is open daily from 10am to 5pm, including Easter and public holidays. It closes only on 25 December and 1 January.

Soumah is at 18 Hexham Road, Gruyere, in the Yarra Valley, Victoria 3770, about an hour from Melbourne.
Yes. The on-site restaurant, Ai Fiori Trattoria, takes lunch orders from 11:30am to 4pm daily, so you can taste and dine in one visit.
