Mezzaluna Launch at soumah

This April we celebrate the release of our first ever reserve Nebbiolo - 2022 Mezzaluna. Hand picked fruit was fermented in tank and left on skins for 120 days before pressing into second use large oak barrels. After maturation for over three years in the cellar, we gently bottled the wine and left it to age for another ten months before releasing this special wine four years after the harvest date.

To mark this celebration we are offering a five course lunch with matched wines on Sunday 26 April. Hosted by our very own Brett Butcher, your experience will start with a glass of our trophy winning 2020 Crescent Moon and a selection of bite sized morsels from the kitchen. The Primi course will include roasted quail, parsnip risotto and wild greens withour unique take on how we use Nebbiolo as a blending variety, through our Barbera Nebbiolo and The Butcher. For the Secondi course we will serve a range of our Single VIneyard Nebbiolo wines and of course - our Mezzaluna along with a slow braised vension ragu. A palate cleansing Nebbiolo and black plum gelato will follow before you are treated to our very own house made drunken Nebbiolo cheese. A few museum Nebbiolo wines will be pulled from the cellar to finish.

Sunday 26 April, from 12pm onwards. $145 per person for five courses and matched wines. Bookings are essential and can be made here.
