Fireside long lunch at soumah
Wine Yarra Valley's Fireside Festival is back and we are hosting a long lunch here at Soumah. With a focus on our imported Italian wines matched to a selection of decadent dishes, this event is not to be missed!
On Sunday 14 June prepare to relax and enjoy the views of winter across our vineyard. Hosted by our very own Brett Butcher, your experience will start with a glass of NV Prosecco and a selection of bite sized morsels from the kitchen. The Primi course will include one of our famous wood fired pizzas topped with Moreton Bay Bugs, truffle oil and capers matched to a Tarlao Friulano and Tarlao Malvasia - two interesting varietals from Friuli. For the Secondi course we will serve a range of Barbaresco from the producer Boffa along with roasted quail and porcini mushroom risotto. A warming triple chocolate fudge and cognac truffle will follow with our Soumah Brachetto Frizzante before you are treated to our very own house made drunken Italian cheese. This will be served with Terre Nere 2018 Brunello di Montalcino to finish. Please find the full menu here.
