“Sweet ripe fruit on the nose. Cherries, strawberries, raspberries you get it. Not overdone though even though I mentioned ripe. The gently sparkling Frizzante nature of the wine coupled with the natural acidity tempers any overt sweetness and imparts a delicacy and finesse to the palate. Note, whilst this is not strictly a dessert wine, more so an aperitif, it went down a treat with homemade trifle. Very nice easy Summer drinking. Cheers to the New Year!”

“Made from the northern Italian variety brachetto, which is rare in Australia, this shows musk and rose water on the nose and lightly sparkling palate with some natural sweetness and a crisp finish. It’s almost like drinking liquid Turkish delight. It’s a great match for fruit pastries or a fresh fruit pavlova. 91 Points.”

“In the glass this dessert wine is a pinky peach colour with juicy notes of fresh strawberries, pears and citrus on the nose. The palate follows suit in terms of flavours. It’s got fruit sweetness but this is balanced by acidity which makes it very yummy and not sickly sweet as some might worry about being a dessert wine. Very enjoyable!”

“The back label says ‘liquid Turkish delight’ and that just about sums it up. Something a little different to take the sting out of a sweltering day perhaps? Light on the fizz and low on the alcohol too (11%), rose water and ripe strawberries lead the way with fairy floss hot on their tail. Not overly sweet, it is quite a cleansing wine and ideal for a pre-dinner aperitif or match it with some desserts. I had a glass with Thai and it did the job. For maximum effect, partially freeze three-quarters of a bottle, shake it up and you have an instant slushie. Hello pool time! Drink now.”

“The combination of obvious sweetness and light, zippy, fresh-faced fruit flavour makes for a pretty winning combination. It has a good feel to it too; mouthfeel. Cherries, strawberries and citrus. It’s light, fragrant, gently sweet and delicious.”

“Gently sparkling and made in a sweet raspberried style though it has enough freshness and zip for it to work (just) as a table wine. There are far worse ways to spend your time.”

“Sweet canned peach nose with richly flavoured palate and balanced sweetness. 3 Stars.”
