Fresh food quality, comfort and relaxation are key at our trattoria-style dining room. Our menu of antipasti, pasta, woodfired pizza, cheese and dessert is available seven days a week, with extra options offered on Saturdays and Sundays.

Merenda at Soumah

Merenda means ‘afternoon snack’ in Italian — its a tradition that is intended to fill the spot between lunch and dinner! Indulge in a spread of sweet and savoury bites accompanied by a glass of Italian Prosecco or our Brachetto Frizzante. Merenda is served in the warmer months from September to March, on weekends between 3pm to 5pm.

Authentic Fare Amongst the Vines

Our Chef has created authentic favourites such as slow cooked buffalo ragu, baked spinach cannelloni or spatchcock with Pinot Noir braised lentils. Our kitchen garden provides fresh seasonal produce used in these Italian inspired dishes.

We are well-known for our Forno Bravo woodfired pizzas; from the classic margherita to pork and fennel sausage with chilli or try a seasonal special on the weekends.

Enjoy a selection of house made produce on our antipasti board or perhaps wood fired prawns or burrata with Viognier soaked figs are more to your taste. Our imported Italian cheeses, such as truffle infused pecorino and washed rind taleggio, are served with lavosh, dried fruit, quince past and nuts.

There is a wide selection of dessert options, and finishing off with our special Brachetto sorbet is always a good thing!

Before you head out, here are a few quick notes to keep in mind:


  • We are taking bookings for tables up to 20 people (subject to availability). Groups of 10 or more can enjoy an excellent lunch with antipasti plates to start, followed by a choice of four substantial mains. These authentic Italian plates include a meat, fish, pasta and vegetarian option which always receive positive feedback. We will happily accommodate dietary requirements with the availability of gluten free and vegan meals. Please contact our Trattoria Manager on 03 5962 4716 for more information.
  • Bookings are not required for tastings for groups less than eight people, but we suggest visiting outside of the lunch rush to avoid disappointment. Cellar door opens for tastings at 10am and closes at 5pm. 
  • We are taking all the necessary precautions to keep you and our staff safe. We ask that you observe social distancing and hygiene protocols during your visit.
  • We like to stay open on Public Holidays as for many it is the only time to visit. However, on these days we apply a 20 percentage surcharge to diners, allowing us to compensate our team members appropriately. No surcharge is applied to take-away wine purchased from our Cellar Door.
  • Due to the high demand of tables, there is a minimum spend on food of $35 per adult and a limit of two hours for all bookings.
