Deep ruby red in colour, this wine offers a bouquet of red and black berries such as cherry, raspberry, and blackcurrant, complemented by spicy notes of black pepper. On the palate, it is discreetly tannic yet finely structured, with roundness, volume, and elegant fruit expression. Harmonious and balanced, it displays a full yet delicate structure. Best enjoyed within 2 to 6 years and served between 14 and 16°C, it pairs beautifully with traditional dishes like eggs meurette or coq au vin, as well as beef, roast poultry, game, spicy cuisine, and a fine cheese platter.
